Sunset Motel (Original Hanson Motel)

  It's interesting to learn about historic sites such as the Sunset Motel ruins in Monahans, Texas. Situated on Business Route 20, which is a section of the famous Route 80, the motel has a rich history. The motel was featured in the 1993 movie Flesh and Bones, starring Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid and was known as the Hanson Motel before closing down in the late 90s.
